Competition in the market of NAS core chip

Marvell 6281 (Kirkwood), which was announced in early June, 2008, appears to more and more NAS.
* Seagate BlackArmor NAS 440
* Buffalo Linkstation Pro XHL(LS-XH1.0TL)
* QNAP TS-119
* Synology DS-109, DS-209

After the widely adopted Orion architecture, Marvell 5182/5281 processor, the higher performance 6281 seems going to inherit 5182/5281's success. But according to SmallNetBuilder's performance chart, there is a more intensive competition in the high performance NAS market. Intel, AMD, and Freescale's chips are strong competitors.
